Renewable Resources #1

Renewable Resources

Every weekend, we’re hoping to add to your sustainable resource library.  This weekend, I’m sharing a website I discovered when looking up a recipe for homemade face lotion.  I adapted the recipe and have been using it for a month now (more on that in a few weeks).  My skin hasn’t been this clear in years!

A Sonoma Garden is a wonderful site with lovely pictures and very helpful descriptions.  Among others, there are also recipes for kefir, kombucha tea, and no-poo shampoo (baking soda, really). I plan to try all of them eventually and let you know how it goes.

Here is our Weekend Resource: asonomagarden.wordpress.com

Happy making!

    • Maybe you could try it and write about it…:). I’ve read how good fermented foods are for your gut but I’ve never tried to do my own.
